No, its a protocoll that takes a disc in one place to make
it available via network, and a client can grab it and
offer it to the OS the client runs on. There are many ways
to do this, iscsi is a way i know there is a client for
windows. You got the hints you need, google how it works
exactly and if it fits your needs.
