I would also like to know the answer to this question.  It seems odd
that you can make the memory grow beyond what is specified in the config
form dom0, but the domU appears not to know anything about it's extra
memory - what's the reasoning behind that?  It seems rather illogical to
me that you can start a domain with X memory, and shink it, then grow it
again - but not beyond that X value.

Could someone  explain this for us?
