 Hmm... 
  Those should indeed be sufficient, I've installed those as well.  I've also installed all development libs & gcc but I would find it strange if that would be the issue.
  I seemed to be wrong, I checked again and OpenSUSE comes with 
3.0.2 insted of 3.0.1 as I said before.
