RE: [Xen-users] How to install etc

Yes, as long as your machine normally reboots when you do
"reboot" (or "shutdown -r <time>")in the shell, you should be fine
installing Xen from remote. You would obviously have to figure out exactly which
kernel modules you need to boot the machine (or at least figure out a set of
kernel modules that INCLUDE all the ones you need - it doesn't make a whole lot
of difference if you get a few too many) . If you miss out on a driver for
either your root filesystem or some hard-disk driver for the root-drive, then
you'll be in trouble and need help to get it back to working again - of course,
if you have a remote setup, you probably have a remote reset/power switch type
thing - in which case you're OK as long as you have a way of rebooting and
telling the system to boot into "safe-mode" [a plain Linux kernel for example].

  Hi
    there,
Not to be rude or anything, but have you tried searching
    yourself a bit?
Good places to start is Google (Search for stuff like
"Linux virtualization", Xen, UML, VMware, etc..)
  The Xensource
    wiki ( http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/
    )
And the mailing list archives ( http://lists.xensource.com/ ) For
the archives, pick a list in the link above, click archives, and search
for what you want.. You're very likely to find someone has already
    answered your question..
  Good Luck! Abri
