Hello,

Is there anybody who knows how to compile a 2.6.9 kernel with xen
support for current rhel4?
google found something about the 2.6.9-xen-compile.patch for this kernel
version ?

Why do you need a 2.6.9 kernel. I have Xen running with the Xen supplied DomU and Dom0 kernels that came with 2.0.7

STeve

Ok I'll bite, what kernel comes with 2.0.7 ?

On the binary I got 2.6.11 om source testing I got 2.6.12 :-)

Both of which are usable in Centos 4.1 which is an AS 4 clone.

Ted
I've had Centos and RHEL4 running with the vmlinuz-2.6.11.12-xen0 and vmlinuz-2.6.11.12-xenU kernels that came with 2.0.7. I've had to do a custom build if I run these in DomU due to IDE driver support (VIA, CMD64x and SIL). No issues in DomU.

I've had a little play with testing, but haven't confirmed if it fixes the network issue that keeps crashing my vnc server instances.

Steve
