I'm trying to export a new LVM LV to a domU without rebooting it.

I did:

$ xm vbd-create 7 phy:mainvg/data sda3 w

in dom0, which immediately returned to the prompt. In domU:

$ sudo mount -t ext3 /dev/sda3 /mnt/data/
mount: /dev/sda3 is not a valid block device

any ideas? Am I missing something?
