It looks like the only hcalls that could set a softirq flag are some dom0 ops 
that may set SCHEDULE_SOFTIRQ? What problem were you seeing that this patch 
solves?

It might be helpful if you include the log messages in these mails, since 
hopefully that would explain some of these questions.
