xen-introspect
[Xen-introspect] typed p2m table
On the phone call a few weeks back, either Ian or Keir (sorry, I can't
recall who it was!) mentioned the idea of typed p2m tables. The idea
was that this could be used as a primitive construct to support
event-driven monitoring.
At the time, I believe that the idea was presented as something that
would be pretty simple to do. So now I'm curious exactly what it
would take to make this happen. I know a lot of people that would
love to see this functionality. And, if someone is willing to do the
hypervisor-level portion of this work, then I'm willing to make the
changes necessary in dom0 to get it up and running (if that would be
helpful).
If Ian or Keir are listening to this list, could you chime in with
your thoughts on what it would take to move this forward?
