xen-ia64-devel

[Xen-ia64-devel] (no subject)

I'm trying to bring up my the latest Xen-3.2 under CentOS-4.6 on an NEC IA64 box.

Everything builds, but the boot fails with the following message:

Red Hat nash version 4.2.1.13 starting
Mounted /proc filesystem
[...]
Creating root device
Mounting root filesystem
mount: error 6 mounting ext3
mount: error 2 mounting none
Switching to new root
switchroot: mount failed: 22
umount /initrd/dev failed: 2
Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!
(XEN) Domain 0 crashed: rebooting machine in 5 seconds.

I configured and built the xen kernel, ensuring that the correct SCSI drivers were there, and generated and installed the initrd image in the right place.

The full boot log follows at the end of this message. If anyone has any ideas, please email me.

Thank you!
