Re: [Xen-ia64-devel] [PATCH 14/14] memmap: allow huge size efi memory ma

Hi Isaku,

I tried to debug this a little more today, but I'm able to work
around it now. The system where this was hanging is a NUMA system.
With the re-ordering of numa initialization in our tree and this patch
from staging:

http://xenbits.xensource.com/staging/xen-unstable.hg?rev/f0772865c85a

I no longer see the hang with your patch. This system has all the
memory on a non-zero node, so this later patch is currently required to
make it boot. Looks like your patch may have just gotten bitten by a
latent but in the tree. If you'd like to fix the issues found in the
previous round of review and resubmit, I'll recheck it and put it in.
Thanks,

        Alex
