Hi Jes,
It doesn't seem unreasonable, but is the reason you no longer MCA the
alignment or the bogus address this is creating? On my zx1 box, this
changed the mpt_table address from:
0xf3fffffff7e00080
to
0xf3fffffffefc4000
Looks like a bit more than a simple page alignment. To get a properly
aligned address similar to the original, we'd need to change the
calculation to:
PAGE_ALIGN(VIRT_FRAME_TABLE_END - (max_page * sizeof(unsigned long)))
For me, this results in 0xf3fffffff7e04000, which I think is what we're
looking for. Should we still make this change, or does this also MCA on
your system? Thanks,
