Hi Tristan, Isaku,

Thanks for your reply and sorry for my ignorance...
I tried recompile with CONFIG_NR_CPUS=8.
As it turned out, I can boot up with 4 CPUs when specifying
dom0_max_vcpus=4.
[root@tiger70 ~]# xm vcpu-l
Name ID VCPU CPU State Time(s) CPU
Affinity
Domain-0 0 0 0 r-- 193.1 0
Domain-0 0 1 1 r-- 192.8 any cpu
Domain-0 0 2 2 r-- 192.6 any cpu
Domain-0 0 3 3 r-- 192.3 any cpu

But, I could see only 6 CPUs when I specified dom0_max_vcpus=8. (see
attachment)
The #3 CPU's socket of this machine is empty.
I think the empty CPU's socket is not recognized.
Is this correct work?

[root@tiger70 ~]# xm vcpu-l
Name ID VCPU CPU State Time(s) CPU
Affinity
Domain-0 0 0 0 r-- 351.8 0
Domain-0 0 1 1 r-- 351.4 any cpu
Domain-0 0 2 2 r-- 351.2 any cpu
Domain-0 0 3 3 r-- 350.9 any cpu
Domain-0 0 4 4 r-- 350.7 any cpu
Domain-0 0 5 5 r-- 350.4 any cpu
Domain-0 0 6 - --p 0.0 any cpu
Domain-0 0 7 - --p 0.0 any cpu

Thanks,
Fujita
