Alex,

Nope, no max_addr in my append.  Here is what I am booting dom0 with in
elilo.conf:

append="sched=bvt sync_console -- rhgb quiet xencons=ttyS8 console=ttyS8
root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00"
