Hi all,

I tested the network of xenU domain. The steps are:

1. create a xenU domain on tiger4

2. log on any machine which can ping this xenU successfully

3. try to use scp to copy a small file (16000 bits) to xenU domain, it passed

4. try to use scp to copy a big file (600M) to xenU domain, it failed!

On step 4, I can see there is a gradually reduction of the speed from 385Kb/s to 0.0Kb/s. Then I can never enter the xenU’s console. But if run scp in the xenU’s console, any size of file will be transferred smoothly.

The boundary size is 16K. More than 16K file can not be transferred to xenU on other machine’s console.
