Hi Kan,

   Addition and removal of empty files doesn't really have any
representation in the traditional diff and patch utilities.  Send the
diff as generated by hg diff and make note in your email comments when
you resend it which empty files to add.  I can then hg add the files
before pushing it to the main tree.  Others have done this and it seems
to work ok.  Thanks,
