No.  However I need to clarify:
You can't have serial port and vt and xen console.
The reason is simple: serial port registers as ttyS, vt as tty
and xen console either as ttyS or tty.

Xen console and serial port conflicts a little bit: they use the same 
hardware, which is not really clean.  So, you'd better to turn off serial 
port if you use xen console.

Also note that xen console is *not* required.

For my own configuration, I choosed xen console only.
