C'est vrai qu'on t'avait oublié.
Voici ma config pour une VM SuSE 10 qui démarre en mode graphique (init 5) :

xen:~ # cat /etc/xen/suse10
kernel = "/boot/vmlinuz-xen"
ramdisk = "/boot/initrd-xen"
memory = 256
name = "SUSE10"
nics = 1
vif = [ 'bridge=xenbr0' ]
disk = [ 'file:/imagesxen2/SUSE10,sda1,w' ]
root = "/dev/sda1 ro"
extra = "5"

Mon fichier image est /imagesxen2/SUSE10

Le noyau que j'ai utilisé est celui générique de la SuSE 10 Xen.

Tu démarres bien avec Xen déjà, non ?
