Dear James, we are using your excellent gplpv drivers since 2008.
The actual problem is the lack of signing, which in turn:
force the systems Vista or newer require test mode, then installation of "removewatermark" tool. Subsequent windows updates or service packs could cause remove "removewatermark" tool. In order to sign your drivers i have found a project which can sign opensource drivers for free: http://www.reactos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8901
