All,
I've got a message from Biostar support with a screen shot that showed the
IOMMU option. That made me aware that I wasn't using the latest BIOS
version.
I've flashed it with the latest BIOS version. Now I also have the IOMMU
option.
Biostar does also support the IOMMU option.
And is see:
lspci -d 1002:5a23
00:00.2 Generic system peripheral [0806]: ATI Technologies Inc Device 5a23
So it's actually working.
I think this mainbaord is really a bargain. I really nice mainbaord with
high end features for a midrange price.
Regards,
Joop.

Dear Biostar Support,
I've just got my TA890FXE main board.
I'm not able to enable IOMMU on this main board, I cant find this option
in the BIOS. AMD-V (SVN) is supported.
I Linux nothing shows up when i do:
dmesg |grep -i iommu
lspci -d 1002:5a23
See this information on the XEN mailing list:
http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-devel/2010-06/msg00842.html
I'm very happy with this main board because of the build quality and
options.
I hope this feature will be added to the BIOS than this main board is
perfect.
Regards,
Joop Boonen.
Below you find a message from the XEN mailing list.
I hope my main board will be supported in the near future.

Hi all,
I have received a beta-bios from MSI for the MSI 890FXA-GD70 that should
support the IOMMU.
Since I don't have this board (yet), if there is anyone who has it and
cares to test, just drop an email and I can forward the bios.
If it works, that would only leave Biostar not supporting it, and with
Asrock, Gigabyte and MSI now in beta.
