Thread-topic: [Xen-devel] about the xcp and xenserver

i am newbee there .from the document it is said that the xcp is a open-source version for the xenserver .and i have a question there .what different bettween them ? and what low level interface  the xapi is base on ? hope some one give me a guide  .any advice is accepted ! thanks

XCP is the open source version of the Citrix XenServer product along with changes made to it by the Xen.org community. The XAPI toolstack is written in O’Caml and XCP does not include a management interface utility like XenServer which has XenCenter. You can find a great deal of more information on XCP at http://www.xen.org/products/cloudxen.html. You can find links there to the XCP section of the Xen.org wiki which is extensive.

Thanks.

Stephen Spector
