Hi, all

I'm reading http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenIntro and it says the IRQ_GUEST flag is set for all interrupts except for timer and serial interrupts. After reading some Xen source code I also find that IRQ_GUEST is only set by the EVTCHNOP_bind_pirq requests. So I'd like to know if these requests are called by the guest OS, and does Xen check if the requests are valid? (For example, what will happen if the guest OS tries to bind the timer interrupt pirq?)

Many thanks.
