I just found some time to try vga passthrough again.
With Han Weidong's patches from around august/september i am able to get winxp 
to boot passing through vga.
The videocard is not properly recognised yet, but at least basic vga support is 
working in winxp.

Hardware:
- P5Q-EM DO mainbord (Q45 chipset)
- Ati Radeon 4850 PCI-e GFX card
- 2 GB mem
- Q9400 processor
