Get the tree via 
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/jeremy/xen.git instead.
E.g.,
'XENLINUX_GIT_URL= 
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/jeremy/xen.git make'
