I am using oprofile-0.9.5 with xen3.4 an pv os kernel-2.6.30.
Linux HPCNL-SR-2 2.6.30-rc6-tip #1 SMP Tue Aug 25 12:26:16 PKST 2009 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
I just simply installed it using these instructions i don't use any xenoprof patch.
1- ./configure --with-kernel-support
2- make
3- make install
these are my opcontrol --status
Daemon running: pid 3033
Event 0: CPU_CLK_UNHALTED:100000:0:1:1
Separate options: library
vmlinux file: none
Image filter: none
Call-graph depth: 6
I am profiling netperf activity in dom0. but when i do opreport the following errors occur.
1- error: no sample files found: profile specification too strict ?
2- opreport error: No sample file found: try running opcontrol --dump
or specify a session containing sample files
this is my oprofile log file output

Why is that so.... Why is it not collecting any data samples

Regards
Fasiha Ashraf
