RE: [Xen-devel] 'make tools' error on xen-3.4-testing.hg
I have installed FC11 on a machine that is
behind a lab firewall with http proxy to get outside. Yum has always worked
for me in the past with this setup, but now it is hanging:
[root@GreenCity01 ~]# yum search git
Loaded plugins: refresh-packagekit
Did something change w/ the connectivity
requirements for yum in FC11? Not sure what it is doing.

tools' error on xen-3.4-testing.hg
Whatever shows :-
# yum search git
has to be installed via
# yum install gitk
and may be some other yum installs.
Boris.

Uninstall old and try :-
# yum install gitk
I installed git via F11 repos, not manually

I have been trying for a couple of days to build the pvops kernel
on xen-3.4-testing.hg as per the instructions in
Boris’ blog entry http://bderzhavets.blogspot.com/2009/06/setup-f11-pv-domu-at-xen-3.html
, but
I keep hitting an error in the ‘make tools’ phase that a package could
not be located (always a different one - see below). Anyone else
seeing this. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Phil
