Ian, I'll try and do so. I'm yet to go through the xs-chmod code which I'm
expecting to be easy. Plus I'm not aware of the reviewing/patching process so I
may come back to you on that.

I think it would be sensible for xenstore-chmod (et al) to have this
as an option, -R perhaps.
If you were to write your code for recursion so it was useable and
used by xenstore-chmod (and perhaps the other utilities) then please
do send us the patch.
