There are several threads at the following link that suggest that it should:

If that link doesn't work, I just did a search at xen.markmail.org for
localhost migration,
and then just filtered on messages from Keir.

There is also mentions of race conditions and such, so you may have
stumbled onto some case that wasn't tested as much.
