As part of a research project to provide efficient storage for VM
environments, we are trying to better understand how virtual disks evolve over
time, and how similar they are across individual systems.

If you happen to host a facility with multiple VMs, and have taken regular
backups for any amount of time, I'd really like to talk to you about the
possibility of doing some statistical analysis on your backups.
