If we change all the PCI vendor ID's for the virtualized devices, how
will the OS find the correct driver in standard HVM systems?

Ok, how device IDs are allocated? I'd like to use them to tag virtual
devices ...

btw: I guess usb and pci vendor ids are not the same namespace?
