The -testing trees (in this case 3.0.4-testing) are updated with bug
fixes, usually backported from -unstable but in some cases only applying
to that release. The number of changesets is typically small, and the
changes themselves are usually small too.

A 'tagged' release (e.g. 3.0.4-1) is a milestone along this path, and
often will include associated RPMs etc.

We'll probably spin a 3.0.4-2 in the near future (e.g. after some or
all of the issues John Levon mentioned are addressed).

cheers,

S.
