This is great. I'm not putting it into 3.0.3 simply because of fears about
knock-on side effects of this patch (e.g., taking us down guest paths we've
taken before).

Could you redo the patch and update the end-of-line comments? For example,
the one that says 'no DMA' can't be correct any more. A brief list of the
advertised DMA modes would be good too.
