Are you using the with xen shipped default scripts for network setup ? This
script hasn't worked for me.
Inside the script (network-bridge) are two command lines which make a grep
over ifconfig for getting the MAC-Address of the NIC. The Problem is, that
my Version of ifconfig title them with "Hardware Address" instead of
"HWaddr".
Maybe you have the same Problem.
