As you guessed, this is a totally different problem. Where did you get
your python and twisted install from? What versions are they? It looks
like some kind of internal error.
I'd like to get this problem fixed and see the ouput of 'xm dmesg' and
check that you're able to start domains before dwelling on the X
problem.
