xen-devel
Re: [Xen-devel] xen0 in VMware

Is it possible to boot a xen0 kernel in
VMware

Yes, this is known to work.

/bochs/

Bochs has pretty decent machine emulation so I think this should work fine.
I don't know of anyone trying it recently.

qemu/

I tried this recently so I know it works.

UML?

Nope. Xen has to be run on bare hardware (or a virtual machine that looks
like bare hardware).
Cheers,
Mark

I have only one computer and it is quite hard for me to play
with the xen0 kernel configuration without serial console output.
thanks
 Ralf
