yeah, what's odd is this is the same grub.conf as for 1.3, save that it is 
pointed at the new xen.gz and linux for dom0. 

But ^A^A^Aq gets none of the response I expect. This should all be fine, 
right?

one thing ... forgot make debug=y first time around. So I did a make clean 
and make debug=y and make install ... is this enough or do I need to do 
more?
