Ok, I just published the new xenlinux-builder package to
http://www.terrabox.com/debian/ binary/
the package name is xenlinux-builder.
Give it a shot if you want. :) run "xlb list_configs" to get a listing
of config files that come with it.
by default it will setup ~/.xenlinuxbuilder/configs the first time you
run it.
If you want to override any of the global settings just create a file
called ~/.xenlinuxbuilder/xlb.conf and place VAR=VALUE lines in it. It's
a simple makefile include that is used AFTER the global include
(/etc/xenlinuxbuilder/xlb.conf) is done.
The global default configs are in /etc/xenlinuxbuilder/configs.
I'll take some genericised config files to be included in the package if
you have any configs that you think others would find truly usefull. :)
like a minimized kernel, a kitchen-sink kernel (which is my aim on the
curent defaults, clone debian's choices from the kernel-image-x.x.x
packages).
Eventually I'll get around to creating configs specific to certain CPUs
and options. Probably 686, pIII, p4, athlon, athlon64, combined with
options like writeable page tables and non-writeable page tables.
Probably 20 configs per kernel version total.
The patches argument is not applicable yet. That is my next target once
I get some feedback on the new xlb layout. :)
I'll CC: this to the list in case others are interested in checking it
out. ;)
Thanks for testing!
