[Xen-bugs] [Bug 1481] New: netback cannot be rmmoded
http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1481
Summary: netback cannot be rmmoded
Product: Xen
Version: unspecified
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: Hypervisor
AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: mcmanus@xxxxxxxxxxxx
netback lacks module_exit() and thus cannot be rmmod'd which is an expected
property of a Linux kernel module.. I understand the code isn't trivial -
that's why severity is marked enhancement. I don't see an obvious reason the
dependencies cannot be unwound.
(rev 3.3.1 - which doesn't seem to be a choice in the version drop down of this
bugzilla)
