[Xen-bugs] [Bug 1470] New: xend status executes network-* start
http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1470
Summary: xend status executes network-* start
Product: Xen
Version: unspecified
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Tools
AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: i.galic@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I've been tracing the source for many
-A POSTROUTING -o eth0 -j MASQUERADE
-A POSTROUTING -o eth0 -j MASQUERADE
-A POSTROUTING -o eth0 -j MASQUERADE
-A POSTROUTING -o eth0 -j MASQUERADE
In my iptables-save output, and have finally deduced it to the call to ``xend
status''. SrvDaemon's specification of ``status'' is closely linked to that of
``start''. Everytime I call ``status'', it executes ``start''.
In a Debian init script this can happen up to twelve times, until it gives up.
I have chosen All/All in Platform/OS, as this part is written in Python and I'm
assuming it's the same everywhere.
The version is 3.2.1.
