Summary: ROM BIOS: HVM guests fail to boot
           Product: Xen
           Version: unstable
          Platform: x86-64
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Tools
        AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: frank.arnold@xxxxxxx

When starting HVM guests configured with a network interface the ROM BIOS gets
stuck with current xen-unstable builds. I tracked the issue down to changeset
19077 (hvm bios: add PMM (a memory manager during POST)).

Last messages from the BIOS:
ata0 master: QEMU HARDDISK ATA-7 Hard-Disk (15360 Mbytes)
ata1 slave: QEMU HARDDISK ATA-7 Hard-Disk (1024 Mbytes)

gPXE (http://etherboot.org) - 00:04.0 C900 PCI2.10 INT19 PMM0020_

Xen was built without customizations on SLES 10 (just `make dist'). Guest
network is also the default bridged setup. Guests can be started without
network interfaces.
