I don't see this bug happening. I can pass parameters to the domU kernel, and
most others, too. Closing this in the course of bugzilla spring cleaning as
worksforme.

The issue which options should be enabled for the -xen kernels should be dealt
with in another bug. Most people can do without it, for ip autoconfiguration
most people rather use an initrd with an dhcp client.
(personally, I's also like the autoconfig stuff and monolithic kernels, though,
but I like to have a clearly described bug for this - not under this title)
