------- Comment #1 from xen703@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 2007-02-07 01:26 -------
I had the very some - well, I do have the very some problem, but I was able to
circumvent it.

I do have those NICs
01:05.0 Ethernet controller: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88E8001 Gigabit
Ethernet Controller (rev 14)
03:00.0 Ethernet controller: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88E8052 PCI-E ASF
Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 21)

If I bridge (xen-bridge) the 03:00.0 Interface, then pings are fine, but an
apt-get crashes the Dom0 Kernel, which ultimately reboots the maschine (unless
noreboot is provided....) The trouble is somewhere hidden in the sky2 driver...
IIRC I read in some config file, that there are special privs for the sky2
NICs, as they seem to be crappy....

So I bridge now the other NIC (01:05.0), and leave the 03:00.0 out of any XEN
bridges and it runs fine....
