Summary: magic sysrq operation "p" does not work
           Product: Xen
           Version: 3.0.2
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: minor
          Priority: P4
         Component: Tools
        AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: robert.johnston@xxxxxxx

I was verifying the functionality of the sysrq subcommand for xm(1), testing
it's ability to send all of the documented sysrq commands to a Linux domU. All
of the commands worked as expected with the exception of the "p" command,
which, according to the documentation, causes the kernel to dump the current
register and flag values to the console.

Example of observed behavior:

run on dom0:
# xm sysrq centos42 p

output on domU console:

# SysRq : Show Regs

#

This was observed on a 32-bit Linux domU based on CentOS 4.2 running on both a
Linux dom0 and a Solaris dom0. The dom0's had 3.0.2-2 and 3.0.2-3 installed,
respectively. As mentioned before, the other sysrq operations seemed to work
fine.
