[Xen-bugs] [Bug 656] New: networking problem

http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=656

           Summary: networking problem
           Product: Xen
           Version: unstable
          Platform: x86-64
        OS/Version: Linux-2.6
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Unspecified
        AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: krysans@xxxxxxxxxx
                CC: Brian.Carb@xxxxxxxxxx

Running xen-unstable changeset 10058 on sles10RC1 - x86_64. When dom0 boots,
ifconfig only shows 2 network interfaces - eth0 and lo. The xen interfaces such
as peth0 and xenbr0 do not show up. However, if we edit
/etc/xen/xend-config.sxp and change the (network-script network-bridge)
statement to (network-script 'network-bridge vifnum=0') and restart xend, the
xen network interfaces become configured and show up with ifconfig.
