Summary: Once Xen 3.0.2 is installed, Fusion MPT SPI won't start
           Product: Xen
           Version: unstable
          Platform: x86-64
        OS/Version: Linux-2.6
            Status: NEW
          Severity: blocker
          Priority: P1
         Component: Hypervisor
        AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: Benjamin.Carleski@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I have Suse 10.0 with the Yast updated kernel. I downloaded the tarball for
Linux x86_64 and ran the install method. When I restart, it boots through the
Xen part, then when it tries to load the "Fusion MPT SPI Host driver 3.03.02"
it starts repeating "mptbase: Initiating ioc0 recovery" over and over again,
once about every 10 seconds. It eventually tries to abort the task, and tries
to reset the card, but continues with the message. After about an hour, it
finally just hangs. I can restart and boot back into the regular Suse linux
install just fine, but everytime I boot into the Xen linux install, this
happens.

I am running Xen 3.0.2 on a Dell 1855 machine with dual 72GB internal SCSI
drives. The configuration worked fine on Xen 3.0.0 and 3.0.1, but just started
failing on 3.0.2. If there is more information you need, please specify what
would be helpful and I will post it. Thank you.
