[Xen-bugs] [Bug 459] New: A lot disk I/O

http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=459

           Summary: A lot disk I/O
           Product: Xen
           Version: unstable
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Hypervisor
        AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: pvanhoof@xxxxxxxxx

My config is a Software Raid 1 on /dev/sda2, /dev/sdb2 and /dev/sda5 and
/dev/sdb5 using the ata_piix (which is statically compiled in the 2.6.12.6-xen
kernel) using a x86_64 Fedora Core 4 on a x86_64 Xen 3.0 default installation.

When I try a command like "updatedb" on dom0 (not on a guest OS), the system
freezes. When I reboot using a standard Fedora Core 4 kernel, I don't have this
behaviour.
