I have two dual opterons running 3.0.0 testing as x86_64 that I can reproduce
this problem on. Interestingly, the crashing is more extreme on a box with 4 gig
of ram than a box with 8.

My motherboards are:
   http://www.supermicro.com/Aplus/motherboard/Opteron/8132/H8DAR-T.cfm

and these have a funny "split memory" config... but it works fine under raw
linux, with the exception of these repeating MCE messages.

I get this on both machines.

Not that I want to be crass or commercial, but I'd be willing to pay
a good days wages if someone can fix this.
