I have a test machine with which I have lost network connection. At first I
thought the OS had crashed, but it turns out that the guest domain is still
running and my ssh connection into it is still active. The ssh connection to
dom0, however, was closed. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that xend is no
longer running on dom0. 

Machine: IBM HS20 Blade, EMT64 running 32-bit OS (Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS
release 4 (Nahant Update 2)), Linux leaf10 2.6.12.6-xen0 #1 Tue Nov 15 07:37:42
CST 2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux.
