As exposed by the 04_block_attach test (updated 11/11/05 by Dan Smith).  The
first call to block-attach attaches the block device correctly.  A second call
fails (as it should) but as a side-effect, it disconnects the block device.  The
04_block_attach test now detects and reports this.
