Great news: a XenAPI Java binding will be finally provided in the next version of Citrix XenServer 4.1. This library seems to fix the major flaw of the current version available on xen.org (per-thread connection requirement which makes it awkward to manage more than one Xen host). It is really a pity that this LGPL library is buried in the depths of the commercial XenServer release (you need to install a SDK VM on a running XenServer host to extract it) and not made available on the www.xen.org site.
I'm also still confused by the distinction between:
-the Xen Management API
-the Xen Enterprise Management API
Does the latter supercedes the former ?
Does the Xen Enterprise Management API fully compatible with a non- XenServer Xen3.2 installation ?
