okay, after some fooling around, I had installed XenServer6 and found the same issue, joining two systems to a pool.

then I broke the machines I had in my pool, re installed them, removed those hosts from the pool (the ones that broke were not masters) and re added the re installed systems

and the bug went away. all the machines are reporting the correct number of NICs (PIF)

anyone have any clues?

Okay, so further inspection I have a more clarified bug statement.

Host A and B, without pool describe their fip's without problem.

However if I pool B to A, A has correct number of fip's. but B duplicates its fip

this fip's have different UUID, however they point to the same device with the same mac address, and same interface name.

I can provide command's to help debugging.

However if this is a expected outcome I would like to know how to handle this 'feature'
